Change Your Experience With Diabetes
I’m here to bridge the gap
when you leave your endocrinologist office with the tools, and then real life happens.
It can feel so challenging to live with diabetes or be the parent of a child with diabetes. However, you or your child's diabetes diagnosis isn’t a reason to stop fully living your life. For many, a new diabetes diagnosis can come with the feelings of being confused, overwhelmed, and scared. And yes, sometimes just really angry and bitter. For a parent or family member of a newly diagnosed person it may come with feelings of guilt, anxiety, and resentment.
You might be asking yourself…
How do I handle my child’s school, sleepovers, a diabetic teenager who wants to eat endless pizza with their friends, or the first Halloween?!
How do I prepare my child to move to college and into adulthood while managing their diabetes?
How do I live my life without feeling embarrassed by my pump or other diabetic devices?
How do I go out with friends without them asking me how I am doing when I check my blood sugar?
